  1. as far as i am concern i believe in that saying because it only tells that eventhough a people can’t see everything about him, still he can see what was his companion doing behind him and he know his companion better than they know him.

  3. this saying is of arabic origins.
    It simlpy means the following or is rather meant for the following:
    Backbitters and gossipers always badmouth other people in their absence, and they are always quick to point out other people faults. But they can never admit to their own fault or even take a look at their ownself first.
    Hence the saying the camel’s companion’s hump instead of hus own.
